Congratulations to Nathan Zabrecky!

On June 20-24, Nathan Zabrecky, a member of the Nelson County ATC’s SkillsUSA team, competed in the 2016 National Leadership and Skills Conference at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville.

During the competition, Nathan competed in the heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) skills competition against numerous high school students from around the nation. He placed second overall and received a silver medal.

“This is a major achievement for Nathan as he will further his education in HVAC and use the skills he learned in the industry,” said ATC Principal Jeremey Booher.

The 2016 Skills USA competition involved more than 6,000 students competing in 100 trade, technical and leadership fields.
